Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation announces an incredible $150,000 matching gift to COVID-19 Pandemic Fund
In a word, ‘wow!’
We are thrilled to announce that a local foundation is doubling the impact of every donation made to the Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation’s (SMHF) COVID-19 Pandemic Response Fund.
Recently, the Morningview Foundation announced that beginning May 1, they will match up to $150,000 to the fund, which will cover costs such as equipment, supplies, and other priority needs as Stevenson Memorial Hospital fights this pandemic on the front-lines.
Every gift made to the fund will be matched dollar-for-dollar.
“It is our sincere pleasure to provide this matching gift to support SMH as they battle COVID-19 on the front-lines,” say representatives of The Morningview Foundation. “We are grateful for the Hospital staff who are working hard to keep everyone safe. Our hope is this matching gift inspires the community to rally behind Stevenson Memorial Hospital, and that, together, we can make a real difference.”
The Morningview Foundation is a long-time supporter of our Foundation. Their gifts over the years have improved nearly every department in the Hospital, including the Medical-Surgical Unit, the Diagnostic Imaging Department, the Operating Room, and beyond.
“We are honoured to work alongside compassionate people like those at The Morningview Foundation, who share our commitment to quality health care close to home,” Tanya Wall, Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation’s Executive Director, said when told of The Morningview Foundation’s generosity. “Because of them, every gift to the COVID-19 Pandemic Response Fund will make twice the difference at the hospital. Thank you for your incredible generosity and kindness in these uncertain times!”
