Our judges panel has been hand-picked by our co-host, The Gibson Centre. Marshall Dane, Erin McCallum, and Sophia Fracassi will not only be our judges panel, they will also be our headlining performers at the virtual concert!
The top three artists selected through public voting will perform at our Raise Your Voice – Virtual Concert, vying for first place. Our esteemed judges will select one lucky artist to take home the grand prize and bragging rights!
For five years in a row, Marshall has been nominated for Male Artist of the Year at the CMAO Awards, alongside artists who have major label backing and riding recent hit singles. Why? Sheer fan power. It is Marshall’s fans who have consistently voted him into the top level. The fans don’t need a chart number to influence their loyalty – he’s a star to them, and that’s the real end game. They hear it. They feel it.
Erin McCallum frontlines a four-piece band, comprising drums, bass, guitars and that unmistakable big voice – a captivating alto-tenor. For over a decade, Erin and the band have been on tour relentlessly, performing for millions of fans – and turning heads in the music industry along the way. Erin has a voice that just rocks the soul – one of those voices that just resonates with the heart. Her vocal ability is that perfect musical marriage of style, power, flare and just a touch of that smoky intangible that makes a blues singer truly great.
Up and coming singer/songwriter, Sophia Fracassi, is well on her way to making her mark on the Canadian Music scene. Signed as an artist with iconic Canadian label, Coalition Music (coalition music.com), Sophia has spent the last year working on her international music debut. Creating melodic, emotive, contemporary pop with skill far beyond her 17 years, her first single with Coalition, “Wish I Never Met You” will be available on all platforms in early Spring. Winner of the Herald’s “Readers Choice Award” for “Best Local Musician or Band”, Sophia is honoured to participate in this fundraiser in support of our amazing hospital and the fabulous Gibson Centre!
