Innisfil Community Foundation Invests $10,000 in Life-Saving Equipment at Stevenson Memorial Hospital
ALLISTON, ON — The Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation (SMHF) is grateful to the Innisfil Community Foundation (ICF) for its generous $10,000 grant in support of new Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) at Stevenson Memorial Hospital.
The funding will help replace aging defibrillators used throughout the hospital, including in the Emergency Department, Surgical Services, crash carts and during patient transfers to larger centers for specialized care. AEDs are critical life-saving devices that analyze a patient's heart rhythm and deliver an electrical shock when needed to restore a normal heartbeat during sudden cardiac arrest.

Through The Morningview Foundation's Every Dollar Counts $4 million matching gift initiative, the Innisfil Community Foundation’s donation will be matched dollar for dollar, doubling its impact to $20,000 in support of Stevenson Memorial Hospital's ongoing needs and redevelopment.
