Morningview Foundation Increases “Every Dollar Counts” Match to $4 Million
ALLISTON, ON — The Morningview Foundation has announced an incredibly generous commitment to the Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation (SMHF), debuting a $4 million Every Dollar Counts matching gift program. The matching program will operate on a dollar-for-dollar basis, meaning every qualified donation received by the Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation will be matched in full by the Morningview Foundation, up to the program total.
The Every Dollar Counts program launched on April 1, 2026. The $4 million match spread over 3 years will generate $8 million in crucial support for the hospital — while helping to deliver vital healthcare for patients and families cared for at Stevenson Memorial Hospital.
The Every Dollar Counts program is designed to be as inclusive as possible. Contributions that will be matched by the program include new one-time and recurring donations, new pledge commitments, memorial and tribute gifts, and proceeds from third-party community fundraising events — effective for any payments made to SMHF on or after April 1, 2026. The program supports the Foundation's Because of YOU $80 million capital campaign.

Over the past 15 years, The Morningview Foundation has been a dedicated supporter of the SMHF, and their gifts have improved nearly every department at Stevenson Memorial Hospital, including the Medical-Surgical Unit, the Diagnostic Imaging Department, the Surgical Suite and beyond.
The Because of YOU campaign is a bold and ambitious effort to raise $80 million through community support to help meet the ongoing capital & equipment needs of the hospital and build the future Stevenson Memorial Hospital. This transformational project will more than double the size of our hospital, providing expanded emergency care and advanced diagnostic imaging. This includes Stevenson’s first MRI suite, modern inpatient facilities, and specialized surgical services - all designed to meet the evolving healthcare needs of our growing community.
