Nottawasaga Foundation Continues to Meet Their Commitment of $1 Million to the Because of YOU Campaign with a $100,000 Donation
[New Tecumseth – October 17, 2025] – The Nottawasaga Foundation proudly reaffirmed its commitment to the Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation (SMHF) by making another $100,000 toward their ambitious $1 million pledge. This ongoing support underscores the Nottawasaga Foundation’s dedication to enhancing healthcare services in our community.
Since establishing this pledge in 2017 to celebrate its 25th Anniversary, the Nottawasaga Foundation has contributed significantly to the Because of YOU Campaign. This latest contribution will help fund equipment needs, technology, and construction costs for Stevenson Memorial Hospital’s new facility, due to open in 2029, ensure the hospital remains equipped with advanced technology and equipment to serve community needs.

This transformational project will triple the size of our hospital, providing expanded emergency care and advanced diagnostic imaging, including Stevenson’s first MRI suite, modern inpatient facilities, and specialized surgical services, all designed to meet the evolving healthcare needs of our growing community. As we approach our 100th anniversary in 2028, we stand on the threshold of a new era, just as our founders did nearly a century ago.
