SMHF Holiday Card Artwork Contest 2026
We’re looking for a special piece of artwork to help us create our 2026 Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation holiday card! Artists of all ages and skill levels are invited to submit an original piece of artwork inspired by the holiday season, our community, or Stevenson Memorial Hospital.
Submission Guidelines
- Deadline: September 30, 2026
- Artwork size: 8.5" x 11"
- Original artwork created by the person submitting it.
- Medium: All visual art mediums are welcome, including drawing, painting, illustration, collage, mixed media, digital art, photography and more. Please no AI-generated artwork.
- Colour: Bright, cheerful colours are encouraged!
- Text: Please do not include words, lettering, names, logos, or messages within the artwork.
- Theme: Holiday-themed artwork is encouraged, but we’d also love to see your creativity! Artwork that incorporates a Stevenson Memorial Hospital, healthcare, or community theme is especially welcome.
- One submission per person.
Who Can Enter?: Everyone! We welcome submissions from children, youth, adults, seniors, patients, families, staff, volunteers and members of our community.
How to Submit: Please submit a high-quality photo or scan of your artwork using this form:
If the artist is under 18, a parent or guardian must provide permission for the submission to be used.
Selecting the Winning Artwork: The Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation will select FOUR winners, one for each of the below age groups, and feature each winner's artwork on our holiday cards:
- Ages 0-5
- Ages 6-13
- Ages 14-17
- Ages 18+
Winners, in addition to being featured on our holiday card, will receive a prize. The selected artists will be contacted directly and will receive recognition from the Foundation.
Permission to Use Artwork: By submitting artwork, the artist (or their parent/guardian if under 18) gives the Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation permission to reproduce, publish, display, and share the artwork for the purposes of the holiday card and related Foundation communications, including social media, email, website, and other promotional materials. The artist will be credited where practical. By submitting artwork, participants confirm that the artwork is their own original work and does not infringe on another person's copyright or intellectual property.
