Morningview Match Inspires Over $500,000 in Donations to Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation

That means that more than half a million dollars has been donated by community members and partners, and each of those dollars has been doubled as we continue to work to transform Stevenson. Thanks to the support of our donors and matching gift from the Morningview Foundation, we are one step closer to our goal of $43 million in our Because of you, we can Campaign.

While doubling the impact of donors, the matching gift from the Morningview Foundation is making it possible for the redevelopment we need to continue delivering world-class health care for those who come through our doors. Not only will this redevelopment double the size of Stevenson, but it will expand the capacity of our Emergency Department.
While the Emergency Department at Stevenson Memorial Hospital was designed to handle 7,000 visits per year, it saw more than 31,000 visits last year. As our community continues to grow, we need to be able to grow alongside it and provide the care our residents need.
With the generosity of donors and incredible partners like the Morningview Foundation, we know this growth is possible. We know that we can transform Stevenson. While this is an incredible milestone for the future of Stevenson, it only marks the halfway point.
