Faris Team Real Estate Brokerage Announces Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation as Alliston Charity Partner
The Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation (SMHF) is honoured to be chosen as Faris Team Real Estate Brokerage’s charity partner for Alliston. Under their Faris Cares program, $100 from each home bought or sold by Faris Team’s Alliston location will be donated to the SMHF to support the hospital’s priority needs. With increased demand on Stevenson Memorial Hospital (SMH) due to the pandemic and the hospital’s aging infrastructure, SMH needs our community’s support now, more than ever.
Funds raised by Faris Team will support the Because of you, we can Capital Campaign – the largest and most significant campaign in the Foundation’s history. The existing hospital was built in 1964, intended to serve 7,000 people a year in the Emergency Department, but with a rapidly growing population the Emergency Department now serves close to 40,000 people a year, making the need for equipment and technology upgrades even more critical.
With Faris Team donating $100 from every home bought or sold, SMH is one step closer to enhanced infrastructure, equipment and technology – the vital tools and space essential for the community health care South Simcoe residents rely on.
