C17media Donates 7,000 Face Shields to Help Fight the Spread of COVID-19

The Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation (SMHF) received a generous donation of 7,000 face shields recently, valued at $28,350 by C17media to help fight the spread of COVID-19 in our community.

“Donations like these are integral to keeping our health care team and the community safe, especially with the increased demand on Stevenson Memorial Hospital (SMH) during the pandemic,” notes Melody McLean, Interim Executive Director, SMHF. “Staff were thrilled to accept the donation and are very appreciative of their contribution to PPE supply at SMH.”

C17media turned an innovative idea into a way to help local health care organizations. Chris Pereira, President of C17media, comments that it’s ingrained in their core values to create, print and inspire.

“C17media is committed to giving back to the communities we serve. Recognizing the need by many health care institutions for personal protective equipment was a motivating factor in retooling our equipment for the production of PPE. C17media is proud to support the frontline workers of Stevenson Memorial Hospital with this donation of face shields!” Pereira said.

A special thank you to Chris Pereira and everyone on the C17media team for supporting SMH and helping keep our tireless frontline workers safe.
