During Their Announcement to Join the Realtor Challenge for 2023, the Faris Team Generously Contributes $7,700 to the Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation.
[New Tecumseth, ON – August 11, 2023] – The Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation (SMHF) is happy to announce, for the third consecutive year, that Faris Team Real Estate will be joining the SMHF Realtor Challenge for 2023. In 2022, the Faris Team took the lead in the Realtor Challenge Program at SMHF for the second consecutive year. They succeeded and contributed a generous gift of $7,700 to the Because of you, we can Campaign.
In 2023, the Faris Team has committed to donate $100 from each home bought or sold by the Faris Team in the town of Alliston and surrounding areas to Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation in support of their “Greatest Needs.” The Faris Team also challenges and encourages fellow community realtors to commit similarly. This challenge has inspired many other realtors from various brokerages over the past few years to be part of this unique philanthropic adventure to support local healthcare in the community.

The $43 million, Because of you, we can Campaign is the most extensive campaign in SMHF’s history. Donations received help purchase essential equipment, upgrade technology, and complete critical renovations essential to the transformation and redevelopment of Stevenson Memorial Hospital. The hospital’s redevelopment plan includes a new Emergency Department that will triple in size. With an Emergency Department built to manage 7,000 visits a year that currently manages close to 40,000 per year and a growing population in south Simcoe and surrounding communities, this redevelopment is needed today and for future generations.
