Snell Family Pledge $50k to Because of You, We Can Campaign!
[Adjala-Tosorontio, ON – October 18, 2024] – The Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation (SMHF) is thrilled to announce a generous $50,000 pledge from Brian and Patricia Snell, owners of Adjala Acres, supporting the Foundation’s “Because of You, We Can” campaign.
Their second installment of $10,000 towards their pledge was presented at the “Stevenson: The Next Chapter, Harvesting Connections” special event hosted at Adjala Acres, where Brian and Patricia, alongside their family, expressed their unwavering support for the hospital and its vital role in the community. Surrounded by community guests and Stevenson Memorial Hospital and Foundation representatives, their contribution aims to help secure the future of healthcare in our region.
“We believe in giving back to the community that has given so much to us,” said Brian & Patricia Snell. “We are proud to support Stevenson Memorial Hospital’s new build and ensure that our family and neighbours have access to the best healthcare for future generations.”
With their $50,000 pledge, the Snells are playing an essential role in advancing critical infrastructure upgrades and enhancing healthcare services at Stevenson Memorial Hospital.
“We are incredibly grateful for the continued generosity and support from Brian and Patricia Snell. Their commitment to Stevenson Memorial Hospital is a testament to the power of community in driving positive change. Contributions like this enable us to support the new build and build a stronger future for all we serve”, stated Frank Cerisano, CEO of Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation.
The Because of You, We Can campaign is designed to raise funds for our new build. Donations received help purchase essential equipment, upgrade technology, and complete critical renovations vital to the transformation and redevelopment of Stevenson Memorial Hospital. The hospital’s redevelopment plan includes a new Emergency Department that will triple in size. With an Emergency Department built to manage 7,000 visits a year that has managed up to almost 40,000 per year and a growing population in South Simcoe and surrounding communities, this redevelopment is needed today and for future generations.
