Alan and Brenda Lundy Donate $60,000 to Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation in Support of Critical Infant and Cardiac Care
In the spirit of Christmas giving, Alan & Brenda Lundy wish to donate $60,000 to the Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation. They are hoping this gift can be shared by the entire community in their time of need. The Lundy’s have directed their donation to support urgent equipment needs. Specifically, part of the gift will fully fund two Blood Gas Analyzers. These sophisticated devices are crucial for the hospital’s youngest patients, used to analyze the acid-base balance and oxygenation levels of infants, ensuring accurate & immediate respiratory support.
The Lundy’s have dedicated the remainder of their donation to cardiac care, specifically for Defibrillators – critical devices needed to restore abnormal heartbeats during cardiac arrest. The hospital currently requires five new defibrillators. The Lundy’s donation will go towards purchasing the first of these five units, with the remaining funds designated towards the purchase of the second unit.

The Because of YOU campaign is a bold and ambitious effort to raise $80 million through community support to help build the future of Stevenson Memorial Hospital. This transformational project will triple the size of our hospital, providing expanded emergency care and advanced diagnostic imaging, including Stevenson’s first MRI suite, modern inpatient facilities, and specialized surgical services, all designed to meet the evolving healthcare needs of our growing community. As we approach our 100th anniversary in 2028, we stand on the threshold of a new era, just as our founders did nearly a century ago.
